As a future physical education teacher, I believe every student deserves to feel welcome, respected, and included in the gym. Every student has different strengths, abilities, and skill levels, and I want to create an environment where everyone has the opportunity to learn and succeed. Through my field experiences with elementary, middle, and high school students, I have learned the importance of adapting activities to meet students' needs and making sure everyone has a chance to participate. I believe physical education should be about more than just sports and competition. It should also teach teamwork, respect, confidence, and sportsmanship. My goal is to build positive relationships with my students, encourage them to challenge themselves, and create a safe environment where they feel comfortable learning from their mistakes. I want every student to feel that they belong in my class and develop a positive attitude toward physical activity that they can carry with them throughout their lives.
